About Brea!

For those of you who may not know Brea, she is eleven years old and attends Homewood Christian Academy in Homewood, Illinois. She is in the fifth grade and has maintained high honor roll status, while serving as class President and participating in extra curriculum activities such as volleyball and praise dance. Brea consistently sets high goals for herself. She plans to continue making high honor roll, and after high school, continue her education to receive a Doctorate Degree.

For fun, Brea loves designing things on the computer, singing, dancing, reading, and writing books, poetry and songs. Brea aspires to be an inventor, detective, owner of an orphanage and a doctor.

Brea is very excited about being nominated to attend the Junior National Young Leaders Conference. She feels that this would be a cool and exciting learning experience. She looks forward to meeting other high scholars like herself, and having an opportunity to explore Washington D.C. This experience will enable her to interact with many of today's most influential leaders.

Brea has been recognized as an outstanding individual who has achieved academic excellence and possesses strong leadership abilities. Brea was nominated by her teacher, Mrs. Debra Boston, who recognized her as one of a select group of students with the scholastic merit, maturity, strength, and character to represent Homewood Christian Academy, as well as, the state of Illinois. With this opportunity, Brea will be able to learn important leadership, communication, problem solving, and team building skills. Attending the Junior National Young Leaders Conference will help Brea learn how to apply these skills in everyday life and in her community.
